Microsoft 365 is Rivvi’s primary Microsoft connector. You sign in with your Microsoft work account. The agent can then see the SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Outlook calendar, and Power BI your account can already open. There is no Azure app to register for day-to-day use. Teams is a separate Rivvi app you install inside Teams — not part of this sign-in.
Most teams should connect Microsoft 365. Power BI on its own is the same Microsoft sign-in with a narrower grant (no SharePoint, OneDrive, or Outlook).
Setting this up as the IT / Microsoft 365 admin? The Microsoft setup for IT admins guide covers the optional org-wide Azure app, Graph permissions (not Teams messages), Power BI tenant settings, and troubleshooting.

How to connect

1

An admin enables Microsoft 365

An organization admin goes to Settings → Connectors → Microsoft 365 and clicks Enable. If you’re not an admin, click Request.
2

Connect your Microsoft account

In Your account, click Connect and sign in with your Microsoft work or school account. Approve access and you land back connected. Each teammate connects their own account.
An optional org-wide Azure app lives under Advanced if you need unattended access. That is not the default. IT walkthrough: Microsoft setup for IT admins.

What Rivvi can do with Microsoft 365

  • Power BI — list workspaces, reports, dashboards, and datasets; read a report; read a dataset’s schema; run read queries; and (with approval) refresh a dataset or export a report to PDF/PowerPoint.
  • SharePoint & OneDrive — list sites and lists, list drives and their files.
  • Excel — read a range from a workbook in your drive.
  • Outlook — list calendars and upcoming events; create an event (with approval).
