Connecting HubSpot lets Rivvi read your contacts, deals, and engagement history, build outreach lists straight from your CRM, and write call notes and follow-up tasks back — so your outreach and your CRM stay in sync. You connect HubSpot by signing in with your own HubSpot account. An admin enables HubSpot for the organization once, then each teammate connects their own account. Your login is used for identity and audit. HubSpot’s API does not honor CRM seat ACLs — the token can read every record in the portal for the approved scopes, including records you cannot see in HubSpot’s UI.

Connect it

1

An admin enables HubSpot

In the Rivvi workspace, an organization admin goes to Settings → Connectors → HubSpot (under CRM) and clicks Enable. This turns HubSpot on for the team. If you’re not an admin, click Request and an admin approves it.
2

Connect your HubSpot account

In the Your account panel, click Connect HubSpot. You’re taken to HubSpot to sign in and choose your account, then approve Rivvi’s access. You land back in Rivvi connected. Each teammate connects their own account this way.

Set what the agent can do

HubSpot shows as connected with its capabilities. Reads are Always allow by default; writes are Needs approval. An admin can adjust these — see Permissions.
HubSpot OAuth is portal-scoped, not seat-scoped. Connecting your account does not limit Rivvi to contacts you own in the HubSpot UI. Super Admin must install the app.

What Rivvi can do with HubSpot

Read (allowed by default)
  • Look up the fields on your contacts, companies, deals, and tasks — including custom ones.
  • Search and list contacts, with the real total and paging.
  • Read a contact and its properties.
  • List a contact’s calls, emails, and notes.
  • Read a deal and its associated contacts; list deals across your pipeline with stage, amount, and source.
  • List companies with industry, lifecycle stage, and location.
  • List tasks across your organization.
Write (asks for approval by default)
  • Add a note to a contact’s timeline.
  • Create a follow-up task on a contact.
  • Update properties on a contact.
  • Log a call outcome to a contact’s timeline.

Try it

Once connected, ask in chat:
To write back, ask the agent to log a call or create a task — you’ll see an approval card previewing the exact change before it’s made in HubSpot.
Rivvi caps and summarizes what it reads, so a large CRM won’t overwhelm the conversation — you get the total and a useful sample, not thousands of raw rows.
