# Inbox

> Calls and runs that need a person. Sidebar Inbox, and Needs you on home.

When a call needs a human, a result needs review, or a run failed, it lands in **Inbox**.

* Sidebar **Inbox** — always there, next to **Runs**. The count lights up when something is waiting.
* Home **Needs you** — follow-ups, failed runs in the last day, leftover first-day setup (forward the front desk, install the widget).

Open a row for the summary, due date, and transcript. Take the next step, write back to a connected tool (it will ask), or close it.

There is no separate Escalations app. Handoffs that need a person are Inbox rows.

Automatic follow-ups you configured on a [program](/workspace/programs) (**Follow-ups** on the program page) are different — those fire on their own. Inbox is what still needs *you*.
