# Data

> CSV and Excel the assistant can analyze — Settings → Data. Use saved data in chat.

**Settings → Data** (`/settings/my-data`) is the file library — spreadsheets Rivvi can analyze in chat, like a shared drive for the coworker. PDFs you drop in a thread stay in that thread; they do not land here.

Drop **CSV, XLS, or XLSX**, up to **50 MB**. Preview the file. Open a file → **Ask in chat**.

In the composer: **+ → Use saved data**.

## Who can see a file

On the file: **Only me** or **Share with org**, plus **Shared with** specific teammates. Switch to Only me to limit it.

The Data page itself is for admins, or members with patient-data clearance. Analyzing a file and owning/sharing it are different permissions.
