# Calling

> Numbers, transfer routing, and calling hours — Settings → Calling.

**Settings → Calling** is the whole call layer in one place: the numbers you call from, where transfers go, and when Rivvi may dial.

## Numbers

The **Numbers** tab lists the organization's phone numbers and their default. Business verification (**Trust Hub**) unlocks CNAM, SHAKEN/STIR, and A2P SMS — those stay locked until verification is approved.

On [chat.rivvi.ai](https://chat.rivvi.ai) you can claim or release a number from this tab. If purchase isn't available in your environment, [support@rivvi.ai](mailto:support@rivvi.ai) provisions it.

## Transfer

The **Transfer** tab is the department map: a name, a number, and optional **Then dial** (a menu key, an extension, or blank for a direct line), plus an org-wide fallback number.

This is the same map you set during [Teach Rivvi](/get-started/discovery) after you claim a number. Saving either surface is what inbound uses. See [How calls get answered](/workspace/how-calls-get-answered).

## Hours

The **Hours** tab is the fallback dialing window and timezone — used when a contact has no local-time record.

The federal TCPA floor (**8 AM–9 PM** in the contact's local time) and stricter state windows always apply on top of these hours. Rivvi will not place calls outside the allowed window.

Hours used to live under Compliance. They moved here so numbers, transfers, and hours sit together.
